Utility & Tunnel Renewal (Alumni/Thompson)

Revitalizating for the future

The underground services and conduit tunnel below the Alumni/Thompson Parking Lot require repairs and upgrades to support current and future development in the area.

The tunnel consists of underground utility conduits and associated linear infrastructure, including steam and condensate lines, chilled water piping, domestic water services, sanitary drainage, high-voltage electrical distribution, and information technology cabling. The proposed new infrastructure will extend beneath the Thompson Parking Lot and loading dock areas within the Engineering precinct.

This project will deliver a new service tunnel while revitalizing critical underground infrastructure and establishing a resilient backbone to support future campus development.
