IMMUNEQUITY (HIV Cure)

is a 糖心Vlog-led international public-private research initiative reimagining how an HIV cure is developed by making scientific innovation, affordability, manufacturability and equitable access integral from the outset. Bringing together researchers, industry, communities and partners in Canada, Uganda and internationally, the initiative combines biomedical discovery with frugal engineering, local manufacturing, community engagement and health-system implementation. Through partnerships including Uganda’s Joint Clinical Research Centre and Makerere University, IMMUNEQUITY aims not only to advance an accessible HIV cure, but also to establish a new model for developing biomedical innovations that can reach the communities most affected by disease.
